Oh wow. That was a very long hiatus! A few things have happened since my last post, but I’m going to focus on the main event, which is that I had a baby! Andrew and I welcomed Olive Tallulah in April, during a pink moon and the first peak of the pandemic. She is so sweet and cute and has been keeping us very busy ever since she arrived. I don’t have any recipes to share today (and might not for awhile, though my goal is to get back to cooking and posting more!) but I do have a few photos for you.

In a year that’s felt like 10 years rolled into one, Olive has been such a happy distraction and snuggle buddy. Andrew and I are fortunate enough to both still have jobs, and we are working from home for the most part. He’s taking classes in year two of his doctoral music program too, so without childcare each day is a wild ride. Prioritizing work and Olive hasn’t left a huge amount of time for inspired cooking (and we haven’t even been to a grocery store since March) but I really want to start getting back to blogging. My plan is to just post when I can and embrace “done is better than good” (as I think I’ve probably said before but I’m prepared to take that to a new level!).
I hope you are all doing well and hanging in there. Have a happy Thanksgiving, and I’ll hope to be back with more updates and recipes soon!
Lovely Rebecca!!!!
