Getting married, be back in a few weeks!
October 1 (the wedding day!!!) is almost here! After over a year and a half of publishing a blog post every Single WEEK I’m going to take a break for a few weeks to get married and go on my honeymoon. I’ll be back soon with pictures and a full report on everything, especially the food! We’re traveling to Greece (Athens, Crete, Santorini, and Milos) right after the wedding and I plan to taste all of the olives, swim a ton, sip lots of local wine and ouzo, and take many pictures. Also, I’m pretty excited about getting some sandals custom made. And most of all I’m looking forward to spending almost two weeks relaxing with Andrew, not planning anything. Have a wonderful beginning of autumn—see you later in October!
*If you’re wondering about the cake pictured above, it’s Vanilla Cake with Burnt Caramel Frosting and Milk Chocolate Ganache, which I made to celebrate this blog’s one-year birthday back in February. Recipe here!
**If you’re wondering about our final wine picks for the wedding (I wrote about the process of choosing them in this post), they are DiamAndes Perlita Malbec-Syrah, Line 39 Pinot Noir, and Isle Saint-Pierre Blanc Vin De France. Ok, over and out!
Happy marriage 🙂
